Kaohsiung Airport Metro

Metro (MRT) turns to be a great way to transfer to the city centre and it is actually faster and cheaper than taking a taxi.

It gets to Kaohsiung city centre within 15 minutes.

Kahosiung Metro is signalized in English aside of Chinese and Taiwanese.

RED LINE

Kaohsiung Metro Red Line is the one that serves the airport, it runs from Gangshan South to Siaogang.

Find metro station within Kaohsiung Airport terminal facilities. Just follow the signs.

Fares

Fares are metered according to distance.

Regular one-way ticket cost is NT$20. To some places in downtown, fare is NT$35.

Where do I purchase my ticket?

Tickets are sold at the ticket machines located in all metro stations.

Payment is only allowed in cash.

For MasterCard and UnionPay contactless card users it is possible to pay by just tapping their card on the machines.
